Should Every Child Have the Opportunity to Get a First Class Education?

Advance America believes that every child should have the chance to get a first class education. This would include going to a public school, private or Christian school, charter school or being taught at home.  Millions and millions of dollars are being spent on education in the State of Indiana. However, if parents are not able to financially afford an alternative to the public school where their child is going then they cannot choose another public school, private school, Christian school or teach them at home.  Advance America supports educational tax credits as well as opportunity scholarships to give the chance to every child to receive an education in the best setting for them.  Empowering parents to make this choice for their child will not only benefit their child and their family but also all of the citizens of the Sate of Indiana.
