**Federal Hate Crimes Bills Are A Danger To Pastors Too!
Immediate Action Required!
S.909 is awaiting action in the U.S. Senate. This is the hate crimes bill. It is similar to H.R.1913 that has already passed the U.S. House of Representatives and is also in the U.S. Senate.
New Federal Crimes Created!
S.909 and H.R.1913 would create new federal crimes based on the victim’s “actual or perceived gender identity or sexual orientation.” Gender identity would include male cross-dressers. Sexual orientation would include – among other things – homosexuality and pedophilia!
All Victims Should Be Treated Equally!
Individuals should be punished equally based on their actions and not their alleged thoughts against someone. Under the hate crime legislation a person could be federally prosecuted if he allegedly harmed someone who is a homosexual, male cross-dresser or pedophile but not if the victim is a military veteran!
Government Recognition and Special Protection of Male Cross-Dressers, Homosexuals and Pedophiles!
According to information we have received, if either S.909 or H.R.1913 were to become law then the government would be granting legal recognition and special government protection to homosexuals, male cross-dressers and pedophiles!
Pastors at Risk!
If hate crime legislation passes, the next step could be to criminally prosecute pastors who preach what the Bible says about homosexuality, male cross-dressers and pedophiles. Religious freedom is in danger!
What Can You Do?
1. Forward this email to all of your email contacts.
2. Contact U.S. Senator Richard Lugar and U.S. Senator Evan Bayh with the
following message:
“Please vote against S. 909 and H.R. 1913 and any other hate crime legislation.
The federal government should not be giving recognition and special protection
to homosexuals, male-crossers and pedophiles. These bills could also be the first
step in criminally prosecuting pastors who speak out against homosexuals,
male-crossers and pedophiles.”
