The citizens of Indiana deserve to know where their State Senator and State Representative stand on protecting marriage between one man and one woman and banning same sex civil unions!
Facts About Protecting Marriage!
Fact #1: Indiana is just one court decision away from having same sex marriages in our state!
Fact #2: A lot of politicians talk about protecting marriage but refuse to do all they can to pass a Constitutional Amendment to protect marriage!
Fact #3: In order for the Citizens of Indiana to be able to vote in 2012 for a Constitutional Amendment to protect marriage the legislature must pass the Constitutional Amendment in 2010 and again in 2011 or 2012!
Fact #4: The Senate approved the Marriage Protection Amendment (Senate Joint Resolution 13) on January 28, 2010 by a vote of 38 to 10!
Fact #5: The next step is for the House of Representatives to pass SJR 13 this year!
Fact #6: You deserve the right to vote to protect marriage!

The Constitutional Amendment to protect marriage (SJR 13) has passed the State Senate and is awaiting action in the House of Representatives.
Step #1 – If your State Representative supports protecting marriage send them an email and thank them!
Step #2 – If your State Representative does not support protecting marriage call or email them as soon as possible with the following message:
“I am disappointed that you do not support SJR 13 this year to protect marriage and ban same sex civil unions! Please change your position and support and vote yes on SJR 13!”
