Indiana does not have a Constitutional Amendment to protect marriage between one man and one woman. We are one court decision away from same sex marriages in Indiana!
HJR 6 – Marriage Amendment
House Joint Resolution 6 (HJR 6) is the Marriage Amendment. HJR 6 would ban same sex marriages in Indiana and same sex civil unions. HJR 6 passed the House earlier this year by a vote of 70-26.
HJR 6 is Now in the Senate!
Any Amendment to HJR 6 is unacceptable!
Any Amendment would weaken the language and pave the way for same sex marriages in Indiana!
Any Amendment would send HJR 6 back to the House of Representatives where it would probably die because of the Democrat walkout!
Supporting any Amendment to HJR 6 is a vote for same sex marriages in Indiana!
Marriage Must Be Protected in Indiana!
We must amend the Constitution to ban both same sex marriages and same sex civil unions (these are same sex marriages by just another name!)
