Update on HJR 6 to Protect Marriage!
On Wednesday, March 23rdthe Senate Judiciary Committee took the next step in the effort to pass a Constitutional Amendment to protect marriage between one man and one woman. The Judiciary Committee voted 7-3 to pass House Joint Resolution 6 (HJR 6). HJR 6 is sponsored by Senator Dennis Kruse and co-sponsored by Senators Jim Banks, Jim Tomes, Carlin Yoder, Scott Schneider, Jim Smith & Jim Buck.
What HJR 6 Would Do!
HJR 6 would amend the Indiana Constitution to protect marriage between one man and one woman and stop same sex civil unions!
