Victory in 2011!
The 2011 General Assembly passed House Bill 1003 – the most expansive school choice bill in the Nation. House Bill 1003 created choice scholarships for parents whose children are currently in the public school to help them attend a private or Christian school. The parents must meet certain income requirements. This is a good first step!
2012 General Assembly!
The 2012 General Assembly could consider a number of bills impacting the school choice victory won last year.

Please contact your Senator and Representative and ask them to support all efforts to expand the school choice law passed last year so more children can be helped; and to oppose any bill that would repeal or restrict the school choice law passed last year!

Family & Freedom Days 2012
It’s important that the citizens of Indiana know what is going on at the State House when the General Assembly is in session. You need to know what is happening on bills affecting your family!
Advance America is going to once again host Family and Freedom Days at the State House.
Here are the details:
| When: | Tuesdays – January 24th and February 14th |
| Time: | 9:00 am – 10:15 am |
| Where: | 7th Floor Conference Room 101 W. Ohio Street, Indianapolis, IN One block east of the State House |
| Cost: | There is NO COST to attend |
| Who: | Pastors, Senior citizens, individuals, families – all citizens who are concerned about what is happening in their state government. |
| What: | Learn what is happening in the House and Senate and then walk one block to the State House. Individuals may be able to sit in on a committee hearing and watch the House and Senate in action. Everyone will be encouraged to talk with their Senator and Representative on issues of importance to them. |
