Many individuals in the House and Senate have been serving there for over 20 years. Indiana is facing quite possibly the biggest property tax crisis that we have ever faced. The Governor of the State of Indiana can only serve two consecutive terms. However a Senator and Representative can serve any number of two year terms in the House of Representatives and four year terms in the Senate.
